We now know a beleaguered Houston Jewish charity actually rewarded the guy accused of physically assaulting one of their biggest donors. The generous Jewish businessman had asked for financial transparency after donating tens of thousands of dollars in the name of his late mother.
It is the latest headline in our growing investigation of the Hebrew Free Loan Association, the Houston charity that asks for donations to give out interest free loans in the Jewish Community. Charity officials refuse to respond when asked if some of the donated money is going to their friends and relatives.
The Jewish Herald Voice refused to print our letter to the editor and then we found out one of their executives got one of those loans too.
The Texas Attorney General has now agreed to review complaints about the HFLA. One of those complaints came from Dolcefino Consulting.
