Prime Social Announces Grand Re-opening

Prime Social Poker Club is back. Houston’s biggest private poker club will reopen its doors on September 5th after a four-month absence.
Prime Social was the fastest growing poker club in the U.S. with 11,000 members when it was closed in a controversial raid by the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. Both the criminal charges and a county nuisance lawsuit were dropped as the club exposed corruption blamed for its retaliatory shutdown.
When the club was shuttered more than 100 employees were at work in the 24 hour a day venue.
District Attorney Kim Ogg was forced to dismiss the case after admitted multiple conflicts in her office. Ogg acted as news was about to break that her senior white-collar crime advisor was also paid by Prime Social to work on a nonexistent ordinance. Two poker clubs and a third that never opened all paid money in the scheme.
The FBI is now investigating possible public corruption. Prime Social is working with federal investigators to get computer equipment seized in the raid returned. District Attorney Kim Ogg continues to hide key public records and has refused to tell voters what she knew about the poker club shakedown and when she knew it.
“We look forward to our 11,000 members coming back and bringing a bunch of friends with them,” says Wayne Dolcefino, spokesman for Prime Social. “More than 100 people lost their jobs in this ridiculous campaign of retaliation and Prime is considering all options to recover the damages. In the meantime, it is time to get back to the game.”
