Jay Sears of NewQuest Properties Battles in Court
A new chapter in our Crazy Judge investigation. A new judge. A fight over the public right to know and billionaire Jay Sears’ mission to protect COMPANY SECRETS from NewQuest Properties and expose the women messing with him.
The $600 million divorce battle that never ends has now spread to legal fights in at least three different Texas counties.
The co-founder of real estate giant NewQuest Properties is on a revenge mission.
One thing that will be missing is crazy judge Robert Kern. He finally recused himself.
Judge number five is another retired judge, Martha Jamison.
“With Kern out of the way, we face an experienced judge who’s going to really look at the law and apply the facts to the law to come to a judicial decision that should be, we’re hoping, in tune with the law and the public rights,” said attorney Nick Kacal.
She’ll try to settle this divorce and deal with our legal action to end the illegal secrecy in this case.
“Sears and his counsel have really tried to make this entire argument about you, Wayne Dolcefino, and your press company when really you have nothing to do with it. This is the public’s right of access to judicial records,” Kacal said.
NewQuest says if I get hold of the records, it will be catastrophic for their politically connected company.
“And I’ve been subpoenaed to court Wednesday morning here in Harris County. You guys know me. I can’t wait. And I’m a great witness.”

“Remember my calm demeanor during the Sylvester Turner lawsuit thirty years ago. I even made Dateline.”
“It’s blatantly false and you know it’s a lie.”

“This time lawyers for billionaire Jay Sears suspect I’m part of a big conspiracy.”
That includes the Women’s Justice Network page on Facebook. And Sears is spending a small fortune trying to see who was behind this.
All over a billboard that appeared on Highway 290 last year.
Lost cheating husband, it read. If found, keep him. It doesn’t name anyone and it’s not the only billboard, but Sears says it targeted him.
And he’s suing. The Facebook page routinely portrayed sears as a really rich guy who is using the courts to screw over his wife of more than forty years.
“Hey guys. Who do you think the Women’s Justice Network is?” Dolcefino asked the Sears lawyers.
Even the high-priced lawyers from the AZA law firm are having trouble finding out who really runs the page.
If they don’t by august the case will likely get thrown out.
“This is like an anonymous group of women,” Dolcefino said.
We covered a court hearing as Sears lawyers fought to get testimony from a guy who allegedly paid for the billboard.”
“Do you have any comment? Can I ask you for your name? I’m Wayne,” Dolcefino said.

Makenzy Fernandes finds herself in the middle of this fight.
Even though she lives more than 150 miles from Harris County.
Supposedly outside lawful subpoena range. She claims she was never served, but a process server said she was.
“We don’t have any comments right now. We appreciate your time, but we are not going to comment at this point of time,” said attorney Gary Wingfield.
Judge Dusty Fillmore said he was honoring the Harris County judge who issued the subpoena here in Houston, Judge Rabeea Collier.
There have been complaints Judge Collier is breaking courtroom procedures to help Sears lawyers. They are running out of time.
And when you look at her campaign reports, you can understand why there are questions.
Lawyers with the AZA law firm have given Judge Collier $80,950 in campaign contributions since 2018.
“But our fight is about the records. The divorce case is still completely absent from the Waller County website.”
“The Court of Appeals does seem to be a bit appalled by the fact that this case is completely blacked out online. That is a huge sticking point here,” Kacal said.
Judge Kern gave NewQuest all the secrecy they wanted, ignoring rulings from the Texas appeals court.
“He wanted control over those proceedings and our intervention and peeking into the proceedings really disrupted his ability to control things the way he wanted to,” Kacal said.
“What will we do without the crazy judge? Stay tuned.”
