New Caney Dentist Dr. Joshua Robbins has finally been charged with attempted indecency of a child, just weeks after he was temporarily suspended by the Texas Board of Dental Examiners.

Houston Attorney Jim Moriarty represents the victim and her family in a civil lawsuit against the dentist.

“My clients are tormented by this horrible abuse by Dr. Robbins and are grateful that his actions have now resulted in criminal charges,” says Moriarty. “They look forward to the day when Dr. Robbins loses his license to practice forever, and their day in court to confront him.”

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has seized inventory records of Robbins drugs from his practice at Southeast Texas Children’s Dentist on FM 1485 in New Caney.

The charges claim Dr. Robbins drugged the daughter of a family friend in order to molest her.

Moriarty says other victims, whether they are children or adults, should contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office crimes against children. The investigators can be reached at 713-830-3250.

Media inquiries should be directed to Dolcefino Consulting. The contacts have been provided to the media.
