Breaking news in liberty county… We’ve taken new legal action as we try to expose the coverup over the suspicious death of Sherry Novosad.
This time it’s directed at a well-known judge. Voters ended Judge Chap Cains reign of power at the courthouse in Liberty.
But he doesn’t leave till January… Too bad for us.
Our lawsuit against the sheriff’s office illegal secrecy ended up in Chap Cains court.
And that’s a problem. We’ve investigated him before.
One of my great lawyers… My son Anthony Dolcefino of the Khawaja Law Firm has filed a motion to recuse Judge Cain from our legal fight with the sheriff.

“You like being improper,” said Judge Cain.
“I like being improper, no I like public officials who tell the truth,” said Dolcefino.
The sheriff’s former top criminal investigator David Meyers has suddenly left the department.
As captain he was the top liberty county sheriff official who went to the scene when Sherry Novosad was found.
And he got testy with our questions.
“Don’t play lawyer with me,” said Mr. Meyers.
Meyers was demoted during our investigation and fired last month for performance and training issues.
The Texas rangers say charges are pending against someone… But who.
In March the sheriff claimed he was reopening the case after we found male blood DNA on Sherry’s bloody shirt.
When we asked to see the documents obtained in that investigation. Liberty county said there are no records.
“Haven’t had a returned phone call in three months that isn’t cool,” said Dolcefino.
“What are they hiding. Sherry’s family deserve to know,” said Dolcefino.
“There’s clearly some blockage in the sheriff’s office and we are going to get to it,” said Carl Hatcher.
