Rodeo goes after rape victim to give charity records secret…What a proud moment for the Livestock Show. Really?

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has filed legal action against Dolcefino Consulting and a trail ride rape victim to keep charity records secret.

“The Livestock Show wants to drag a young rape victim into a Houston court because they are mad at me for asking questions,” says Dolcefino Consulting president Wayne Dolcefino. “Shame on them. They have exposed their true character.”

The legal action comes just days after the Rodeo broke an appointment to show us financial records, after Houston Judge Steve Kirkland ruled the famed Houston charity could not withhold charity financial records because they are being sued in the 12 rape case involving the Los Vaqueros trail ride.

The charity requests filed by Dolcefino Consulting sought records detailing payments to law enforcement, lobbying, sexual harassment claims, and documents detailing conflicts of interests of Rodeo Board Members and details of their investments of millions of dollars in the Caribbean.

Dolcefino Consulting has reported that only about 10 percent of the Rodeo money goes to help kids with scholarships.

“Everyone who volunteers to work for free for this concert business disguised as a charity should be outraged. says Dolcefino. “

The Rodeo initially said it was fighting Dolcefino Consulting requests because the firm had been hired by the Pinkerton law firm to locate witnesses to the brutal rape incident.

“The new court filings by the Rodeo expose this fight for what it is. They are using this rape victim as cover for their real agenda. Keeping secrets. I will fight this vigorously, and that includes a plan to ask the IRS to launch a review of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo to determine if they even deserve non-profit status. There are no sacred cows.”
