Prime Social “betting” on the holiday spirit

Houston’s biggest private poker club is going “All In” for the Holidays, betting poker players will bring a toy to get in free to the hottest game place in town.
Starting December 1st, 2018, Prime Social will waive the usual daily entrance fee to its more than 7500 members if they bring an unwrapped children’s toy. It is the latest goodwill gesture at the poker club getting known for more than just the hearts on some of their playing cards.
“We are so grateful that Houstonians are enjoying our poker club in droves, and we want to give back,” says Prime Social founder Dean Maddox. “We are gambling that our players will know how important it is to help make the holidays special for as many kids as we can.”
Prime Social isn’t just Houston’s biggest private poker club, it is the fastest growing poker place in the entire country, drawing players from all over. Food, a full bar, plenty of Sports TV, and poker tables for pots of all sizes.
Since it opened, Prime Social has tried to pay back, raising thousands for local first responders, and the club has held free brunches to teach more women how to play poker.
“Of course, our Christmas tree will be loaded with poker ornaments, chips and playing cards,” says Maddox. “We want to surround our tree with lots of toys and stuffed animals. Let’s make it happen.”
