Liberty County Judge Jay Knight is turning his back on the small town of Plum Grove while a rich, politically connected developer tries to bully the city council into silence.
Failing roads, overwhelmed firefighters, drainage of raw sewage and increased flooding is all caused by the massive colonia called Colony Ridge being developed by Trey Harris, who has given hundreds of thousands of dollars to Republican politicians.
Now records detailing how those neighborhoods were originally approved are conveniently missing. The Liberty County Commissioners Court should be ashamed.
