Texas Attorney General Tries To Crush Free Speech

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was elected to fight for your right to know. Instead his office wants a judge to order us to remove videos exposing the lies of Texas Tech in the firing of Coach Mike Leach.
First, we got a demand letter to censor our reporting on documents the Attorney General released to us. After our first report they claimed they released the documents by mistake. Now they want you to forget what you heard like Spock’s Vulcan Mind Meld in Star Trek.
We said no.
“Texas Tech says they don’t want to stifle our constitutional right to express opinions about the university, but that is exactly what they are doing. Tens of thousands of people have viewed this information and, no offense to the court, but it will be a cold day in hell before I allow our journalism to be censored,” said Wayne Dolcefino, President of Dolcefino Consulting.
“I think it is great that Judge Davis wants to review the records himself, because he will learn a lot about the lies of Texas Tech and the shameful decision by the Attorney General to help this state university hide the truth from Texans,” Dolcefino said.
The Austin judge has ordered we have a right to pursue a lawsuit against the Attorney General himself. The Texas Attorney General is now appealing the ruling of Judge Paul Davis.
The Dolcefino Consulting investigation began with the effort to prove Tech lied to fans about the firing of Coach Leach. We have established their cover-up. The cat is out of the bag. Instead of paying Coach Leach what they owe them, they would rather spend years in court to hide the rest of the story.
In early November, the first official from Texas Tech will finally have to give sworn testimony in this fight over your right to know.
“Texas Tech attorney Ronny Wall was the first recipient of the Dolcefino Cry Baby Award, and he is a symbol of a government official who deserves to be fired for his treatment of public information,” Dolcefino said. “Wall has overcharged us for records with the full knowledge of the Texas Attorney General’s office. This fight has cost us more than a quarter of a million dollars. General Paxton should be ashamed, but he seems too busy with other scandals so maybe he is losing track of all his trouble.”
