Texas Tech Moves To Stop Sworn Testimony In Leach Case

Texas Tech has gone to court to try to stop Dolcefino Consulting from putting school officials under oath.
The motion to quash a deposition of a school representative was filed just days after lawyers for Dolcefino Consulting requested the sworn testimony in our fight to get 10-year-old records involving the firing of the winningest coach in school history.
“Texas Tech is insulting fans, donors and parents just to keep Red Raiders from exposing the orchestrated firing of the coach to cheat him out of millions in owed pay.” says Wayne Dolcefino, President of Dolcefino Consulting.
That’s not the only game of secrecy they are playing in Lubbock.
This week Texas Tech University lawyer Ronny Wall said it would cost more than $5,000 to look at public Texas Tech emails about Dolcefino Consulting President Wayne Dolcefino and Coach Leach sent since January 2018.
Since our Leach investigation began, Texas Tech has tried to charge $415,000 in payments to provide records.
“Ronny Wall is the poster child for government secrecy and an embarrassment to the public right to know,” says Dolcefino.
The harder they fight to hide the truth, the longer this battle will go on. What’s wrong with the truth? They must have a lot to hide.
Judge Board from Amarillo is now hearing the fight over public records. He has set a trial date in December.
We will fight to get Texas Tech officials under oath. Records have been destroyed, others are being hidden, and that cannot stand in Texas.
