The first Black Mayor of Texas City stands accused tonight of destroying a sacred piece of real estate inside the land that was originally set aside for freed slaves in Galveston County after the Civil War. On the final day of Black History Month, the descendants of some of the freed slaves in Galveston County have filed a lawsuit against Texas City to demand the injustice stops.
